I am Carrie. I am the massage instructor here at the Black Hills Health & Education Center. I moved back to the beautiful southern Black Hills of South Dakota two years ago after having been away from the area for nearly 7 years. In addition to teaching massage, I also teach hydrotherapy (the use of simple water treatments for health) and an introductory course on herbs. I love the beauty of the area and the clean air!  I love taking my students on nature walks, introducing them to herbs and edible plants growing in the wild. I also enjoy nature and landscape photography. It is a joy and privilege to be able to work with the wellness guests and see the wonderful health changes that they experience here.

Hi Carrie,
I'm looking forward to all the good things you will be growing in the greenhouse and garden now that the massage classes are over. I know you have already spent many hours collecting seeds and planting for fall crops. You are a very valuable asset to our staff and I am glad for your friendship.
