My name is Janet Nelson. My husband, Richard, and I came to the Lifestyle program in July 2004. We were very impressed with the program and fell in love with the Black Hills. We felt that God wanted us to return and volunteer here. God sent people to us who wanted to buy our home and acreage in California; we both retired and moved here August 1, 2005. Now we both volunteer in the Research Department at the Center and I do insurance billing for the guests. We feel so blessed to be part of this program and to have the privilege of living in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Since we are retired and volunteers we also find time to go on mission trips to India. Richard was born there, so there is a special place in our hearts for the people of that country. Last year we were able to visit the place of his birth for the first time since he left at the age of 9 months.

Hi, Janet,
And I must add to your introduction --- We are very blessed to have you both here with us! We appreciate our volunteers! You and Richard are a most vital part of our program! In addition to the great asset you are in the Research Dept., your slide programs of your mission trips to India, and just your Christian spirit as you pass through the hallways,....it's a delight to have you on our team! And Richard, you're a great phlebotomist, too!!
