Cheryl grew up in the Midwest, but has had a rich education, attending renowned music schools overseas as well as in the United States. She received her degrees from the Royal Academy of Music in London, and also from the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria before she began her studies at La Sierra University, CA. After she finished her B.A. in Violin Performance, she received her M.A. from the University of Southern California. After teaching for 30 years, mostly in Southern California, she "retired" in the Black Hills of South Dakota, where she is presently Assistant to the Director of the Wellness Program. She and her husband, Fred, who is a retired dentist, are most grateful to live and work at the Lifestyle Center. Their recent knowledge about natural remedies actually saved Cheryl’s leg from being amputated, and this testimony has been a powerful witness to the benefit of hydrotherapy. Fred and Cheryl, both violinists, also share their musical talents with the guests each month.
