Claudia Kunishige is a nationally-certified massage therapist. She became certified in 1999. She's been a massage therapist at BHHEC since 2003 and is currently the Treatment Supervisor. She finds very rewarding the opportunity to help make people feel better. Prior to her massage therapy training, she received her BS degree in Social Work from Pacific Union College in Angwin, CA. She lived in Japan for sixteen years with her husband Kazuto. At that time he was a movie director. Now he designs and builds log homes. Their two sons, Aki and Miki, were raised in Japan. During the first two years they lived in Japan, Claudia worked for the United Nations University as an administrative assistant. She also taught English Conversation in various settings. In her free time she enjoys reading, playing the piano, and taking care of her family.
