Glenn Wiltse, M.D. - Medical Advisor

Dick NunezGlenn Wiltse graduated from Loma Linda University in 1947, interned at White Memorial Hospital and spent one year as a fellow in Internal Medicine before serving 2 years in the US Army as a medical officer in the States and Germany. He joined the Wahpeton Clinic, Wahpeton ND in 1950 and practiced Family Medicine there until 1992. During the last 25 years of that time, as he noticed so many people with diseases that could have been prevented by an appropriate change in their lifestyle, he developed a special interest in Preventative Medicine. During his practice in Wahpeton he held many programs to help smokers quit the habit and worked with others there in conducting vegetarian cooking classes and health seminars.

Over twenty years ago he was one of the co-founders of the Black Hills Health & Education Center. The center was established especially to help those interested in a more healthful lifestyle to accomplish the changes needed to make an improvement. This improvement was accomplished by learning to eat a diet of unrefined vegetables, fruits, grains and nuts and to begin a lifelong commitment to regular exercise. Also incorporated into the program were information in the proper use of water, sunlight, fresh air, rest, as well as the practice of temperance in all things and a trust in divine power as a capstone to the entire program.

He enjoys seeing people who come to the Center with diabetes, angina, hypertension, arthritis, elevated cholesterol, etc., leave 3 weeks later with renewed energy, greatly improved health, a new outlook on life, and new hope for the future.
