- By Air: Three airlines (Northwest, Delta, United) fly to Rapid City. The airport is 25 miles from BHHEC. We will be happy to meet you there and provide transportation to the center.
- By Car from the East or West: Go to Rapid City on I-90; take exit 60 and follow North street as it curves to the South West; take a left at the stop light onto Campbell and head South. Campbell becomes hwy 79. Stay on highway 79 going south for 15 miles. In the small town of Hermosa, you will come to the first gas station (Battle Creek Country store and gas station) on the right. The next road to the right is Highway 40. Follow directions "From Hwy. 40" See below.
- By Car from South: Come north on Hwy. 79. Approximately 30 miles north of Hot Springs Junction is the little town of Hermosa. Take Hwy. 40 west (before the Battle Creek Country store and gas station), left toward Keystone. See below.
- From Highway 40: Go four (4) miles. Turn left on Battle Creek Road (gravel road) you will see our green sign: Black Hills Health and Education Center on the right just before the turn. Then turn right at the "T" at the base of the hill. This is still Battle Creek Rd.. Stay on the main road until you reach the lodge a little less than three miles from Hwy. 40.
